Our American Bar & Dining "Watch" provides finger food, salads and burger as well as fresh mixed international cocktails. The "Bremer Ratskeller" is only a few minutes away from the hotel. There is also the gourmet restaurant l`Orchidée which has been awarded with 1 star of the Guide Michelin. The "Ratskeller" provides regional dishes and the world´s widest choice of German wine.

Area information

The hotel is situated close to the city centre and only 100 m from the main station. The exhibition centre, the musical theatre and many historical attractions are within walking distance. The Universum Science Center, the airport and many museums are easily connected to public transport. There are good connections to the art village "Worpswede" as well as to Hamburg and Hannover.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were good size and well equipped, nice breakfast area with good food and a view onto the square in front of the main station.

No air-conditioning in rooms, needed to leave window open at night, fortunately it wasn't noisy. Surprised that room rate didn't include access to swimming pool etc.

This was a 4 star hotel, but did not have any air conditioning.. We could not leave the window open because it was so noisy outside we could not sleep. We could not sleep because it was so hot in the room... 3 days of no sleeping... I wasn't happy with this hotel at all!

The location is good. Near HB and quite close to the city centre.The room are quite big but they are not finished according to what people call 4 stars hotel...

Room 105: dirty carpet(s), Pay TV kicks in while browsing the available channels without to touch the four-big-red PayTV buttons! Pretty bad when you see things you don't want to see (i.e. porn)! A lot of noise at night coming from beneath (laundry room/bar/restaurant). In both nights was like someone moving heavy furniture, very bad noise...No tee/coffee facility in the room! I am very sure they wouldn't have had my preferred tee downstairs at the bar.

it was quite cold in the rooms (no heating if not occupied); only one chair in a double room; for the second night the room was more expensive and the bathrobes were charged separately
